Terrace Park On A Hill

Hi, two Sundays ago, after lunch at Vivocity, we got a whiff of the sea breeze on a fine sunny afternoon. Then we head to the vicinity of Telok Blangah and I caught a glimpse of the sign that says Telok Blangah Hill Park. I have never been there before. Something tells me that it might be the place I wanted to go for a long time but didn't know where it is. I have often seen it on television, as local drama being shot a the backdrop of this place. It's really by accident that I come to this place and fortunately have a car to take us there since it's up a hill.

Along the way, we passed Alkaff Mansion. It is another heritage building that been converted to an Food & Beverage outlet. I ever went there for dinner on a special occassion once many. many years ago.

Finally I am here !!! Might not be on my bucket list but at least I won't be wondering the rest of my life where this place is. Our country is so small and there is still a lot of places left to be explored. While up here, we discover we could get on the Henderson Waves Bridge for a stroll or jog. This highest pedestrian bridge connects Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park to Kent Ridge Park. There is rich variety of tropical floral and fauna and great views to enjoy.

A nice Sunday afternoon, enjoying the sea, sun and greenery.
 Have a nice weekend ourselves.
